Hiatus
Life was like a roller coaster. It was fast, fun and thrilling. But now, I'm on a ride gone wild. Lemme take some time to reorganise my life. Well, that typically means finishing my homework all in advance. If I can do that miraculously by Sunday and then my hiatus shall end. Hahahaha. Tres impossible.

A small comeback from a pause...
It's been more than a week since I last blogged. It's so sinful. Haha. Exaggerating.
But then I have been worrying a bit this week. Things that I debated whether I would post or not. It was about personal and time management. Funnily, I will make a fuss about losing sleep and stressing myself out with loss of sleep. Not really something many can identify with, but heck, I don't understand your stresses sometimes myself. I guess I'm asking you to be considerate and not laugh in front of me, as I try to do. But feel free to do so when I'm in a good mood, which is quite often. Haha.
Anyway, on to light hearted things. We had a CUBS potluck just now and I made some Honey Chicken and Marmite Chicken. First time stir frying here. Not too bad overall. Hehehe. No difference between the two except for Marmite. Lots of food and I'm still stuffed. Hahahaha. Ended everything with Tiramisu too. Twas' a nice night, though I couldn't say the same for my neighbout downstairs. He saw the table, the laptop shake. Hahaha. Maybe 8 people in one room was too much?
Now let's hope I make a change to my lifestyle. For the better. Change, change, change. Cheers!

Adapting bit by bit...
Hey y'all. I know I have crazy sleeping habits these days. But just to say I am alive and hopefully well.
What have I done lately. I've been going out and chatting with old people. Like seniors who will graduate this year. So by next year, I'll be saying to myself, where have all my friends gone. Hahahaha. They agree with me. So I must further widen my social pathways.
Latest indulgences. Dark chocolate covered McVities digestives. They are cheap. They are big. They are many. They are filling. They are chocolate. They are cookies. Around 68 pence, with a layer of chocolate just to entice you. A cheap form of indulgence. Highly recommended, more than chocolate overdose. Which reminds me. The Sainsbury's belgian chocolate spread was not bad, but a bit sweet.
I've been packing very nice sandwiches. With milk. Some times with nutella and peanut butter spreads. Sometimes proper with cucumber, tomato and ham slices. And I eat it like popcorn in lectures watching lecturers teach. Cool eh. Hahahaha. Solves a bit of my tardiness.
So I'm refining my life skills. Now to improve my cooking skills...

A story after a week of absence
Oh my god!!!! Four weeks fly past liao. One week without blogging fly past liao. The weekend fly past liao. I develop Singapore accent liao.
Just kidding on the last one. But really, time just disappears each day as I get homework deadlines conveniently spread out on the Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. I'm supposed to be hardworking this weekend, but I suppose being hardworking tonight will have to do. And sighs. Forgot to buy bread from Sainsbury's. So tonight how leh?
Anyways, for my story today, I was looking at carbonara recipes from scratch. They add the whisked egg at the very last, cooking it ever so slightly without scrambling it. But because I had no carbonara, I added egg to my bolognaise spaghetti at the very last today. The egg didn't fully cook and so I'm probably gonna get an upset stomach. HAHAHAHA. And I had this great idea. And so I drank hot water to raise the stomach temperature and cook the egg more in my stomach. HAHAHAHAHA.
Such a great idea from a Cambridge student. Will I survive after this 6th attempt on cooking?

Toughening Up!
Lousiest Spam attempt I have ever seen
Anyway, just had breakfast, with my version of Special K. I like Special K for the strawberries, but I can finish the box in just 3 times. Imagine how much I have to pay for the cereal. So why not I buy my own strawberries from Sainsbury's and buy el cheapo frosted corn flakes. Wheee~ Voila. My breakfast today. Can put as many strawberries as you want, but I realise I have too much to finish in one box of strawberries.
So now I'm calming down. Supposed to be studying, but blog a little lah. =p I should 诉苦 a bit, but probably I might discourage future Cambridge newcomers. Hahahaha. The course is demanding of course and it requires me to change my last minute styles. Or else I'm gonna die from lack of sleep. And everything is condensed and fast paced. Which is a good thing, bad thing, cause I get short terms and longer vacations, but I have to work harder.
I really think their education system is really different. Or they are really just very creative. I'm just a slave of memorisation and drilling. But anyway as the saying goes, 勤能补拙, so even if there are geniuses out there. I'm got go harder today with revision and homework. I can't believe me, a last minute guy, saying that.
You've won 891,934.00 pounds
Send Necessary information:name, age, countrySo lame! Didn't even bother to cover the fact it was so fake. That was the only content of the email I received by the way.

Got Distracted.
Literally. Not only from blogging. I got distracted from my work. All I shall say is I slept once at 2 am. Slept at 10.30 accidentally the next day and woke up at 5 to finish the work. I shall tweak my workflow. Never ever ever do that again.
Anyway, I was going to talk about going to a Chinese restaurant. Damn expensive. 1.80 for plain rice. The dishes were 5.80. But measly! Very measly. Like half the portion of a single person's meal in Brunei. And they managed to spoil sweet and sour pork, or more known as 咕噜肉. My god. Never ever eating chinese in UK anymore. Well maybe except for the duck rice in London. Hahahaha.
Trampoline. Wheeee~ I've officially joined that club. Paid a huge amount for the year fee. So better get used to it. When next term comes, I'll see if I can fit in long distance running into my schedule. Wanna do more sports. And eat more. Lol. Definitely gonna eat more.
And this is crazy. I downloaded a 16mb setup of oovoo in like 3 sec. Really crazy. Gonna try downloading Adobe Lightroom. =p

More Randomness?
I realise. Well, not really. I know I have bad time management and punctuality. I get up early. At least one and a half hour before my 9 am lecture. And I manage to laze about till 8.45 when I start rushing to prepare myself and all. That's why I kept buying breakfast at Sam Smileys. But now, I'm making my own breakfast. Crumpets with Nutella. The microwave was stupid. The plate was hot, but the crumpets were only warm. Lol. Tomorrow be smart, use toaster.
Which reminds me. I saw this post on Aaron's blog saying he hates waking up for 9 am lectures. And I was thinking how come? I have 9 am lectures everyday till Saturday. Except for the Saturday bit, 9 am is normal. Apparently not... It's only my course.
Anyway, today was cool. But I was bit aimless since I had been to Tesco. I had already bought most of the necessities I need, a jacket, gloves and a bike. A bank account and a phone would have to wait. Sport shoes are luxuries. And so I was strolling around, tempted very much by the H&M jumper. Not expensive too! I finally resisted the temptation as I had a jacket already. As for the phone... I'm thinking of something with push capabilities. =p
Random thought. I wanna get meat-ier. Why do people seem to be smart, since they could come to Cambridge, and still get to look good. I look geeky and I'm struggling in Maths. I need more meat.

Another random post
I still can't get over the fact that I squander time over irrelevant matters and that facial tissue is rougher than toilet tissue. And the toilet tissue is cheaper. I wonder why? Facial tissue is more expensive and rougher, and they call it facial tissue because of its size or something? Weird.
I finally accomplished a goal. I went to Tesco! Admittedly far and I got lost a bit, but Tesco was wayyy huge! I guess I really do love shopping in supermarkets like Supasave. Hehe. There's just a very nice feel. Except that Tesco was wayy larger and the aisles were just filled lots of things, like cans all at one aisle. It was cool. I bought cheap things like 25p mugs and 50p plates. But I also bought lots of other stuffs, nutella, crumpets and stuffs. I was so worried my bag wouldn't hold and my budget would explode if I ever decide to frequent Tesco.
I had my first Physics supervision today. To those who don't know, we have big lectures and supervisions are like one teacher to two students sessions unique in Cambridge. It's like having a tuition teacher, but he's also the one who sets you homework. He was cool, but I got to think. My friend was having different difficulties in problems, which I knew beforehand from A Levels. But he can have the creativity to solve questions really and my only advantage was possibly the drilling of doing certain methods to solve maths. And so I was thinking about how different the education system was and what would it be like if people were not taught to solve science and maths questions, but using their intuition and creativity to discuss and understand them. Interesting. =p
